Matt’s project took place on the campus of Harvard University, where he worked with the Cambridge Jets, a highly-regarded and long-standing youth track club. The Jets program aims “to attract young children who might not otherwise have an opportunity to participate in sports.” As part of the Jets coaching staff, Matt, a gifted teacher and mentor, worked with youths from ages eight to eighteen. His goal, he says, was to "promote the tradition of honor in my sport and affect that same sense in those who watch me train and compete."
